Emma is a lecturer, facilitator, director and teacher of drama, who despite earning a living from theatre had forgotten that she also loved acting! This was the play that helped her rediscover that passion, and since then Emma has performed in Hedda Gabler, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern and most recently as Mole in Wind in the Willows. In the past she has taken on roles such as Ruth in Blithe Spirit, Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone, a prostitute in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and the Narrator in Up and Under (nothing, if not varied). She also performed as a dancer in the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony. This is the first time in Edinburgh as a performer, although has been involved as a director/dramaturg before (and will be for another show (Boulder) this year).
